FAQs
Why low-cost?
As part of the requirements for my ongoing qualification as a psychotherapist, I offer psychotherapy sessions at a reduced fee. I am given regular supervision by an experienced psychotherapist to support the quality of our work together.
Who is therapy for?
Therapy isn’t only for trauma or major life events. It’s for everyday stress, patterns that keep repeating, and feelings that are hard to name. No problem is “too small” to explore.
What does a session look like?
Each session lasts fifty minutes. I offer sessions face-to-face, on a weekly basis.
How do I decide if this is for me?
I offer an initial meeting to explore your needs and what you hope to gain from therapy. After this session, you are welcome to take some time to decide whether you would like to continue and whether you feel we are a good fit to work together. The fee for the initial meeting is a reduced rate of £10.
What can I bring up?
Each session is confidential, offering you a private and safe space to explore whatever feels important. You are free to bring whatever you need, in your own time. I adhere to the UKCP Code of Practice, which ensures that our work together is held to high professional and ethical standards, including the protection of your privacy and wellbeing.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made by cash on the day of your session or by weekly or monthly bank transfer.
